But that's not what he looks like!

Thank you, Little Lovables! I hadn't seen the new trailer for Twilight, mostly because they don't play it on Nick Jr. or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but I have seen it now! I was a little worried that Edward would look as terrible as he did on the Entertainment Weekly Cover, but he looks much better in the film.

I still have to say that the Edward my very active imagination came up with while I was reading the books is still better looking than Robert Pattinson (who I agree is attractive). I know it sounds crazy, but I've always found some thing that disappoints me while watching a movie after I've read the book. I'm not an elitist, even though I love the whole process of reading; it's just there is always something that is not how I pictured it. Maybe I shouldn't let my imagination run wild, but it's really hard to turn off while reading!

I'm still going to watch the movie and enjoy every minute of it. Possibly more than once.

Oh! Little Lovables has Twilight inspired jewelry up for sale in her Etsy shop. Grab them while you can!

Girlfriend needs some baby fat

Yes, a thousand times, yes. I don't care if it was based on a comic book; I don't care if shoot-em-up movies aren't your thing; you need to see this movie in the theater. You can always cover your eyes when the bullets go right through people's foreheads. It was worthy.

My only problem? Angelina Jolie's arms are too skinny. I have a hard time believing that an assassin could get her job done with toothpick arms. She can't possibly hit someone hard enough to knock them out with arms like that. She looks thinner than she did in Tomb Raider. Girlfriend needs to keep some of her baby fat after the twins are born. Sorry, that girlfriend thing came out of nowhere, but it's true so I'm leaving it.

Would I have liked it more if James McAvoy used his Scottish accent instead of a very natural sounding American accent? Eh, maybe. It might have been a tad distracting. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, I'm still seeing this multiple times. Multiple- I'm not limiting myself to twice.

Chill with the music.

I've had quite a week. Well, quite a seven day period. So I chose to pop in a movie tonight, grab a box of Milk Duds, and whine to all you people.
The movie, you ask? The Lake House. I really love the opening song, so that's what band I'm featuring tonight.
The song is called I Can't Seem to Make You Mine, and it's sung by The Clientele. It's on their Strange Geometry CD. They also have a new CD coming out on October 1st, but you can get the MP3's on Amazon.
I don't really think I'll be whining much after all, the Milk Duds are kicking in. Keanu might be helping a little bit, too.
